License Terms
  1. You (the “Contributor”) retain ownership of all of the curriculum and, content that you submit to us as part of this program, including without limitation, text and/or speech files, code, associated materials, media and /or documentation (the “Content”), but hereby grant to Microsoft and its affiliates (“Microsoft”), a nonexclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully-paid up license to use, edit, copy, reproduce, publish, publicly display and/or perform, format, modify (and/or make derivative works of), translate, re-arrange, and distribute the Content or any portions thereof, and to sublicense any or all such rights and to permit sublicenses to further sublicense such rights, in any manner and in any form whatsoever in Microsoft’s discretion, including, without limitation, distribution and redistribution of any such Content free of charge to third parties.
  2. THE CONTENT IS PROVIDED BY THE CONTRIBUTOR TO MICROSOFT "AS IS" AND, EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 3 BELOW, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED. CONTRIBUTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO MICROSOFT FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THE CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
  3. You, the person clicking “I AGREE” below, represent and warrant that you have the right and power to enter into this license agreement on behalf of the Contributor, and Contributor further represents and warrants that (a) the Content is original, and the Contributor owns all of the Content (or has obtained all written releases and authorizations from any other owners necessary to grant Microsoft this license with respect to portion of the Content it does not own), (b) you will immediately notify Microsoft in writing (@One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052; Attn: University Relations and LCA) if the Content is or becomes ineligible for public posting or for legal distribution outside of the United States, and (c) with respect to any code element of the Content, there is not incorporated any Publicly Available Software, as defined herein. “Publicly Available Software” is defined as software that requires, as a condition of use, modification, and/or distribution of such software, that other software incorporated into, derived from or distributed with such software (i) be disclosed or distributed in source code form; (ii) be licensed for the purpose of making derivative works; or (iii) be redistributable at no charge.
  4. Contributor understands and agrees that Microsoft has absolutely no obligation to use, post or keep posted the Content (or any portion thereof) at all or in any manner, including without limitation, with respect to its content and curriculum program.

By selecting “I AGREE” below, the Contributor is hereby attaching an electronic signature and agreeing to the terms of this license agreement. If the Contributor does not agree to these terms in their entirety without modification, then you should select “I DO NOT AGREE”, which will cancel the process of submission for the Content.
