This video discusses how to use the XAML Rectangle, Canvas, RectangleGeometry and is a simple demo of the very basics of XAML.
What is a UserControl?
x:Class Requires? What does it connect with?
Defines an area within which you can explicitly position child elements by using coordinates that are relative to the Canvas area. In contrast to the Grid Class which is used to create columns and rows.
Draws a rectangle shape, which can have a stroke and a fill. Cannot have child elements. Stroke outlines the rectangle, stroke thickness is how thick the outline will be. Stroke gets the color of the outline.
Gets or sets the geometry used to define the outline of the contents of an element. This is a dependency property, in this case the clip is dependent on the UIElement Canvas.
Describes a two-dimensional rectangle.
